Quality is the key to competitive advantage in today’s business environment; quality improvement must be at hospital. In this paper, the main goal is building a systematic approach through software package for quality control and assurance of medical equipment performance within the health care quality system and making continuous improvement to the system.
The biomedical engineer has the full support from technical manager and division director to provide and arrange high quality calibration and testing for medical devices at the hospital. Measurement is an important requirement of continuous improvement process.
It is necessary to establish appropriate metrics for measurement purpose then monitoring will indicate the occurrence of improvement in the system. The objective of quantifying is to be able to measure the quality of a system.
